Bass Fishing Forum - Westernbass.com

Folks, I'm headed out to east Tennessee (Johnson City) for all of next week. Anyone have any ideas on how to get into some bassing (or reasonably priced guides)? Bank fishing? Boone, Watuaga, and South Holston are fairly close. I'll be going there a few times over the next year, so any info or referral is appreciated.

The whole area is absolutely gorgeous. Nice bassy looking lakes, with lakeside homes selling for less than $250K!!! Too bad I wouldn't be able to find a job there...

I know what you mean, I haven't been there but have seen plenty of pictures and have researched the Real Estate there since my company has a plant in Murfreesborough. With the manufacturing climate in California and the State's fiscal health in recent years leaving CA is something I've contemplated (we also have a plant near Atlanta). Just can't seem to leave the weather and our fishing!!!
