hey buddy you want the fb 3000, its the same size as the 2500, but the 2500 kicks out like 9 lbs of drag the 3000 is a beefier version, it kicks out 22.5 lbs of drag i use it for drop shotting and yellow tail fishing, thats right thats why i say go the 3000 just fro the drag power and its the same size just a deeper spool which is cool cause you can put 12 or even 15 test and throw a senlo or even a carolina rig in the wind, i put my money on the 3000, i have 4 stellas and i love every one.
