I think it may just be me, does a 7'6" heavy action okuma rod sound ok for pitching and flipping? I dont know it just seems so big haha

That rod will work for flippin, but its heavy and probably better suited for use w/ swimbaits. But, in a pinch, you can flip w/ alot of different rods.
