Painted Rock Lake - Gila River - Az

I'm sure there is water in the lower lake after this springs high run off in the Gila. Anybody know if they are retaining any water above the dam to keep the lower lake filled up? Anybody know if they have opened up the access on the south side again?

Has anybody been out there this summer?

I heard from a couple guys... The lwoer lake has water, but the park is closed and there are no plans to open it.
