Mike I know you read on hear sometimes and I was glad to see you still out fishing on Sunday. I heard what happened and am glad to see you are ok.
You have balls of steel to go back out and fish after sat. incedent.

So Mike was the ONE? Man, this story sounds like one that happened before!

Ray, thanks for the well wishes. I have had my great bass'n buddies call all day long from all over the southwest just spreadin the love. Every one of you better go huddle up with your wife & babies and tell them how much you love them. Please do your families a huge favor every time you go out fun fishin or whatever is boat related and wear your real lifejacket and never forget to use your kill switch. I am still very sore, and yes it is a miracle that I was able to continue fishin, I had 3 good ones in the boat at the time of mishap. After about 2 hours of talkin to GOD & my wife I some how was able to catch a few more to end in 5th place after day 1. Saturday night we watched George St Piere destory Matt Hughes in the UFC Championship at our house. When I went to bed and laid by Ruth it felt like our house fell off a cliff, unbelievable dissyness. I did fish all day sunday, and somehow managed to finish in 9th, Sunday night was pretty rough. my brother Mike P. thanks for the love. Clint & I did miss your funny ***. Would have loved to heard the country version of the national athem, especially Sunday mornin. All you so cal guys need to hear this in mike's truck. If I had this system in my truck and played LeAnn's song, I think it would be hard to not win. I know you would have taken home some of the Havasu $jack.00. Get your cheese ready for the FLW Series event at Havasu, my b'que is just about ready for some action. Thank God you are ok. I was telling my wife about your experience last night and she said, "You have your kill switch attached at all times right?" I said yes, fully knowing that I hardly ever do. That's some scary stuff Mike. I'll definitely think of this when running the boat. Have a good Thanksgiving!

When Rooke told me what happened I got chills down my back and my eyes teared up. Theres nothing more eye opening than getting thrown from your boat at 72 mph. We all know I've been there guys. Not fun stuff. My hat is off to ya for fishing the rest of the day and the next day. Your a true champion. Just rest up . If your whole body turns black and blue call me ok, if you need anything let me know. I am only a few miles away now . ok get well soon.

James H. Saturday was one of the best days ever on Havasu to give the horses a little reign. The water was like a sheet of glass, and I was makin a run to a big fish area down south. It's about 10:30 when absolutely out of no were was the left over rollers from that sorry *** casino boat, remember there is not a boat in sight in any direction. I was probably runnin 70mph when I tried to get out of it, to late. I think I was driven 10ft deep from the force. When I surfaced the boat looked like it was 100 yards away, water temp 59 degrees, tee shirt & shorts. I think I know a little how Tuff Heademan felt when he rode Bodaious, without losing my face. You guys should never ever think it won't happen to you. My life was sparred by the good Lord above. Please always wear your REAL LIFE JACTETS, & KILL SWITCH so we all can have fun shoot'in the **** at these tournaments. mg

I heard too Mike..I saw Clint at the gas station Sunday morning and he told me what happened.....funny thing, is I saw the same thing Sunday, and my partner asked my why I was slowing down in the middle of the lake......those damn wakes have no white-cap too them...I no exactly what you saw, or didn't see......take it easy....I will see you in Feb!!! And yes, hug your family....you never know when it is your time....I had my near death this year too!!! Humbles the crap out of you!!! God Bless!!!

Shaun, Mike told me it happened to you also. As you know this deal happens in all of 2 seconds. You and I lived to talk about it with our bud's, we were very lucky. Maybe this happened for really good reason, if so I'm ok with that. Young bother, you are gett'in to be a thorn in our butt's. I was wondering what happened...Thanks for explaining.
It takes us Northern guys a little longer to figure things out.
I hit the same waves at this years Stren....not fun. Shot me straight up like a rocket.
I always wear my Lifejacket, manual Lanyard and yes everyone in my boat wears a wireless lanyard.
