In the midst of a world in turmoil, I want to wish you all a safe and joyous Thanksgiving filled with peace, warmth, contentment, and togetherness.
I’m aware of the gifts and blessings I have in family, friends, and the bass community I call home. So, as I prepare for Thanksgiving Day, I’m personally grateful for each and every one of you on Western Bass.com and the contributions you make to my enjoyment of fishing. It’s the sharing with other anglers your abilities for each of us to achieve our potential in what each of us think is best in our own fish.
Thanksgiving Day is, in so many ways, the most American of holidays, reflecting the strength, courage, humility and optimism that are at the heart of our national character. On this day, it is thus fitting to remember the many opportunities that our God and our nation have bestowed upon each of us, and to give thanks for our blessings.
And please don’t forget our military that are defending the ideals upon which our nation rests.
So, may your hearts be warmed by moments filled with special joy…
And, may you be touched by the wonder at the treasures to be found…
As you and your families celebrate Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much for being who you are – “The Anglers who I want to spend time withâ€

So you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, ey? If you could pm me with a message as to why you do not celebrate this holiday, I'd be interested in reading it. To everyone else, Happy Thanksgiving from Japan.

Great post Marty, I couldn't have said it better. Especially the thanks to all on this board who have helped me become a better fisherman. For those that shared tips, locations, and methods unselfishly (fishly?

), please continue. Your effect has a chain reaction that keeps this sport alive. It's a gift that keeps on giving and giving.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
