I know the priority entry deadline is tomorrow for the FLW Series...Did anybody have any communication with FLW late last week and heard any recent numbers for any of the events on the boater side?
Hopefully we can fill them all up, just curious if some events were full yet as this is the first circuit out West where anglers are coming from the East.

, and he had heard that 140 Ranger guys had signed up.

140 for which event? I would think the Delta and Clear Lake would be close to that number.

I think that Havasu will most likely have the same if not more than the Delta because of the Western guys that fish BASS and FLW don't have conflicts and the number of locals that only fish Havasu.
There are just as many Havasu rats as there are Delta rats and Clear Lake rats.
As far as actual numbers, I am not sure that anyone actually knows.
Be sure to ask when you call in and let all of us know what they say.

Was thinking of doing all 4 Western events as a Non Boater....Before I fork out $1300.00... was wondering about expenses..... anyone have some 1st hand knowledge of average per event for a non boater, including gas money for the pro, room and board....any ifo would be helpful.... Thanks

I would suggest finding another nonboater or a pro to split costs with. Things will be pretty steep if you go solo.
The cost will vary a lot based on location and costs for hotels. Hotel for a week normally runs 300-600 dollars and nonboaters tend to give 20-60 a day in gas. Add another 10-30 bucks a day for food and 100 bucks for gas in the truck or car.
The Columbia River will cost the most beause of distance but the hotels are cheaper than the other lcoations.
It just depends on your lifestyle and habits. You should be able to do each even on $300-$1000.
If you really want to do it you can make it work.

Shifter;
The problem is that the expenses are the same for both circuits..Last year I fished as a co-angler in three events and my expenses were about 500.00 per event...300.00 motel plus gas for pro, plus eats, plus travel expenses and don't forget that you will spend another 100.00 at the local tackle shop to buy the latest local hot bait that you won't use anyway because you don't have faith in it

I travel alone, but the only savings would be half the motel and gas for your truck...if you hook up with another angler..

Just signed up for 3 as a co-angler. The date of the Columbia River makes it impossible for me to travel and fish or I'd do all 4. We've gotta take advantage of this opportunity while we have it or it might go away.

Well I spoke with FLW today and as of this morning they had a few pro spots left and about 25 co-angler spots left for National Guard Division. I put deposits on all four as a pro. no confirmation as of now

That has to be for the Stren Series...if there are only a few pro spots still available for the Series I would be pleasantly surprised!

I see you guys are talking about money to fish these tournaments. Well I love the idea of going to the Columbia River. It is eight hours for me but I fish it enough. I've fished the last three years on the Stren as a boater. Never been to any of the lakes until I prefished for the Tournaments. And I did all right but I love the compition. It does cost some coin to fish for me. But I love it. You guys should feel lucky you only have one that is as far as Tri-Cities. I'm will be at all National Gaurd. Cant wait.
