Nevada BASS Federation

A huge thanks goes out to Tim Myers for getting the Federation up and running in the State of Nevada....we had our State qualifier this weekend on Mead.....30+ mph winds....cold as heck, and just flat out brutal.....I don't know the official results, but it took 9+ pounds to win it for two days, and it only took just over 3 pounds (for two days
) to make the top 12.....
Let me also add that Ray Scott came in town to send us off....WOW!!! It was a dream come true to have the man that had the first classic on Lake Mead in 1971, and the founder of BASS, to come out and be there for us the entire weekend. I am in awe of this man, if you are around him, you would know what I'm talking about.....the entire BASS and ESPN staff were also on hand....we had a very low turn out in club membership, but they were positive in every aspect of the tournament....
Again, thanks Tim, you took some heat in doing this stuff, and you showed a lot of class!!!! You rock in my book!!!
