Whiskey Slough Harbor Closed, What Happened?

Went to launch there Saturday. Had no trespassing signs all over and cones with yellow tape blocking entrances and ramp. Was allways a little uncomfortable launching there but it was close and I personaly never had any problems there. My curiosity has got the best of me.

DONT KNOW ANYTHING BUT MY SPARE TIRE GOT JACKED, OFF MY TRUCK WHEN IT WAS PARKED THERE WHILE OUT ON THE WATER.THAT DAY WE PUT IN AFTER LUNCH AND WAS OFF LONG BEFORE DARK. KINDA GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF THE PEOPLE AROUND THERE TO DO THAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. ON THE THING !!!!!!!!!

New owners, renovations, permit issues, county code violations and a run down marina that needs ta go! Quite frankly I hope it NEVER re-opens. This will cut down over 1/2 the traffic in that slough, and for those who understand how that slough works, we're quietly dancing on our decks! Look OUT! HAR! HAR! HAR!

last spring i also had my tires punctured (sidewall)....1 trailer tire and my spare
had to have a friend bring an old spare i had lying around at the house...came in handy
havent launched there since

Cooch, Lets see here.....I think I figured it out......winter time+dead end slough+past tournaments Cooch has won=Whiskey Slough
