well since Mikey wont say, we will just have to wait and see his anglers marine boat on T.V. Im sure the camera guy zoomed in on his face . Mikey sure was upset when whoever it was drove all over his bed fish with his big motor just tearing up the spot up while he was waiting for the sun to get higher. oh well at least a stunt like that didnt cost him . Great job Mikey !

Mike did it the way it's supposed to be done. Start off in the club ranks (was a member of Castaic Bass was back in 93'-94'), move on and dominate the local team scene, and finally take a risk by quitting a good job and move to a locale with a legitimate tournament size lake and turn pro. I remember fishing with him once way back in 93', I was just learning the local lakes after fishing the brush filled stained waters of Blythe for 11 years. I laughed at the split shot rig, who would ever finesse fish? I stopped laughing when Mike starting catching fish on that special color, "the river special" if any of you remember it. I decided that splittshotting was okay after that! Great job Mike!
