THE GOOD, THE BAD , AND THE UGLY
Hit the water at 7:30 AM, water temperature was 60?, wind was blowing. Went to a spot I caught fish yesterday but there was already a boat on the spot so I fish another nearby spot (slat by the quarry)
THE GOOD,
8:15 I hook up a really nice fish on my c-rig with an Upton Custom baby brush hog in spoke pepper. Took a couple of pictures and the bass weighed 6 1/2 on my scale.
THE BAD,
The wind was blowing me around off my spot while I was taking the pictures. This guy in a grayish blue ranger. Comes from 100+ yards away and trolling motors over the spot where I caught the fish. I mine right where I had my boat and right over the top where I hooked up.
THE UGLY,
I'm upset, I look around for my C-rig to make a cast in the direction of the spot where I caught my fish and I can't find my rod. HOLY CRUDE!!!
G•Loomis GLX Carolina Rod with a Calais 200DC gone. Good Grief. Spend the next hour and a half dragging different baits around trying to locate it and hook it.
If you're out there in the next few days check out the flat by the quarry. There are two buoys near the points of the flats. I lost the Rod and reel just west of the east buoy some where between 12 feet and 45 feet. AHHHH!!!!!
