what to do

last weekend i was fishing my home lake when i spotted fish. they were between 5 and 10 lbs.very big fish for where i am. the only problem is i couldn't get any of them to bite. i through everything from swimbaits to dropshot rigs. the water temp was 75-80. what should i do?
! If you can see them they can probably see you, my best advise is to mix it up. Different times, types of bait, distance, and angles.
