I'm from the east coast and everyone on here even people I have never meet...has always been nice and more than went out of thier way to give me props or others on ther catches or whatever they got going on...

Yes I live in Ventura, yes I'm not a Californian, yes I'm in the military but with the way everyone on here has treated me and my wierdness... the only thing I could do in return... is return the respect and the good vibes...

After reading your first post...I'm alittle embarrassed that I stilll get excited when I stick a 6lber on a swimbait or dropshot or buzzbait....Only if everyone on here could have the cockness you have...would the fishing world be such a better place...

As for the smack talk between fishermen...that's going to happen...but I'm not the one thats going to bash everyone b/c of it...Everyone I have meet on here has been some of the greatest people I will meet...period...

So, for someone I haven't met yet, I wait for the day to have the chance...Just to see how cocky you really are...being cocky isn't problem...But talking sh#t from behind an internet profile instead of in front of us...gets you no respect...come to any tournament...call it, that you are going to win it...then turn around and win it...then I will understand why you talk so much sh#t about all of us and how easy it is here in So Cal...and then I will giv eyou respect....then again I will have to the think about that...

Until then everyone on here has my respect...Guy, the Baileys, and everyone else that thinks a 5lber or bigger is a great fish...

Well said Dave. I'd like to see this wannabe do his thing...just so we could all get a good laugh. Like you, I'm not well known, I have met you and Rob and think you are two great fishermen no matter how big of fish you are catching. I did see nail an 8 lber during a Poolmen turkey shoot and thought that was pretty cool (it was the biggest fish I ever saw landed at that point). I still get excited by catching a good fighting 3.5 lb small mouth or even the little fish? at Casitas. This clown should just go away if he can't try and be friendly. With the exception oif the few jerks like him, everyone here has been helpful and friendly. How is the new bait coming?

Thanks John. Hopefully we'll have more of those Poolturd Turkey shoots coming up soon. I can't wait for the trouts plants to start, though they've been eating the bass pattern baits occasionally...or so I've heard As for our progress...slow and steady, but we're still making progress and hope for a christmas release. I'm tweaking a killer bait right now actually...Kelly knows what it is!!

It's 10:30 and I've just finished up the US Open and am dead tired. I have to go to bed before I drive upstate to run my next tournament. But wait! I stumbled across Guy's challenge on line and I had to go look up the original post which lit him up. I'm still blown away by this whole thing. This dude has been reading too many issues of Bassin' magazine!

Randall Cohen, without question, you are the Man!!! I am but a humble servant of the nearly 3,300 bass anglers who particpate annually in pro-am and team tournaments run by a little start up organization called WON BASS. I think perhaps we could help each other out!

As a tournment director and representative of WON BASS, I want to be the first to sit in your backseat as an observer and document for print and publication your skills as an angler. I'm talking the back seat of a bass boat and not your '74 AMC Pacer. With your level of angling acumen, it is a sure thing that you will soon be winning boat after boat at nearly every tournament you enter.

Additionally, I personally think that your skills as a writer are unsurpassed by anyone who traverses this website. With on-line publishing and blogging so commonplace nowdays, we would all encourage you to share some of your angling wisdom with us so that those of us who have only managed to catch say one or two double digit fish in our lifetime may learn from your years of experience.

I will personally be happy to come and act as a tournament official at any contest in which you want to take on fishermen on this site for monetary wagers. I will act as an impartial party and arbitor of contest rules for the event. I think most on this site would welcome my work in officiating such a contest in which you would put up $1,000 per angler as a wager.

By the way, which Wal-Mart tackle department do you work at???

I think everyone has scared Randall away. I guess it's obvious since he has not replied to this thread or offer. Maybe he has realized that some of those SoCal anglers are better and scrappier then he originally thought. Its kind of a shame because maybe we could have learned something from him. Maybe he would have offered some real competition.
