I will usually use living rubber jigs when draggin on the rocks, either rubber only or a mixture with silicone and different rubber diameters. Flippin/Pitching, silicone, hands down, primarily beacuse i make my own jigs and hand tying rubber is way too much of a chore with a weedguard in the way.

Amongst rubber and silicone, I have a number of different materis that I will use for my football/finesse jigs, adds something fresh and different to the standard jigs.

Nothin beats a jig!

Where can you get custom silicone? I know of a good supplier, but there is a catalog of colors and types, no custom made stuff.
Also, do you know of "flex-floss" it is a very interesting material, it has the stretchiness of rubber (even more so) and a textured feel to it, it is very soft to the touch, and is glossy in color. I found some at Sportsmans Warehouse in Rocklin, but they dont have it any more. There was a firly limited color selection, but it is a very unique material.

Flat rubber, really, I am not a big fan of it, it always seems to bunch together when I'm fishing it, round rubber does that much less, but to each their own!

Question, have you tied Lumoflex, I know a few folks use it for spinner/buzz skirts, but does it have any action like rubber and silicone or is it just kinda dead?
