I was wondering if this would work. I have an all white center consil and I have to srcub it to make it look clean and there are always scuff marks.
I was thinking about having the spay in truck bed liner put in the floor of my boat. Have any of you done this? did it work?

Actually this works good in a boat. It's of the same principle of the nonskid you find on naval vessels. Helps to keep you from sliding around on the deck, during rainy periods.

encoly have actualy done this? Have you fished in a boat that was coated like this? The reason I ask is I am conserned with the durability and adheasion. I am worried that if I get this done to my boat that it will start to peel off after a while. It seems like the perfect solution but I dont want to screw up my boat.

I have used both RHINO and a similar process in my truck, boat, jeep and numerous other applications. It is strong, durable and most of all, flexible.

It is an applied process that is only as good as the prep work and the vendor. You can get it in many colors, including custom and apply it in various patterns (logos included) as well.

With all of the applications that I have used, I have never had anything crack, peel or otherwise fail. If you do get a spot that chips or flakes, it is easily repaired.

I USED LINE X BED LINER ON MY BOAT TRAILER FENDERS AND ALSO ON ALL OF MY BRACKETS ON MY TRAILER TO KEEP RUST OUT AND NOT WORRY ABOUT CHIPPING. ON THE REAR STEPS OF MY FISH AND SKI I USED IT ALSO. THEY TOPCOATED IT WITH PPG POLYURATHANE TO MATCH MY CARPET. DEFINATLY THE WAY TO GO NOT RINO LINER. CALL PAUL AT LINE X IN SANTA CLARITA OR NORTH HOLLYWOOD.

Have seen this done on numerous craft, and like the man said previously, the job is only as good as the prep work. Both of my boats were carpeted, so I haven't done it myself. One boat I was looking to buy, had the nonskid type vinyl on the interior.

Matt, I had an aluminum crestliner that I redid with Rhino liner for ocean fishing. It worked well, but I had several issues. The first was Wieght. Find out how many gallons of spray they are going to use. I would have them shoot the thinnest coat possible. I also had them coat the Keel with a smooth coat as a keel guard. They must have not done a very good prep job since it started to peel back after several months. So long as they prep it well, and use a very thin coat, it worked great. I had them put the sand color on mine, and it hid the dirt pretty well without heating up to much. i looked at the vinyl, but water was able to get into all the cracks an mildew. Since i washed my boat every time i went fishing, the liner worked better. Phil

I agree with the LINE X instead of Rhino Liner. Tri-County Line X in Venura does a great job.
