Hurry up and get that combination backyard island/brass dancing pole ( :wink: ) built so'n we have have a rip-roar'n good time at su kasa.

Lookin forward to Saturday evening.

Almost there - well, not really. SHEESH - what did I get myself into??? :shock: Still have a long way to go, but I'm bound and determined to have it stucco'd and tiled by Saturday:

Is this just a guy thing ? I kinda thought it was a bring the wife and family thing. I personally dont plan on bringing the little one but a couple of us planned on bring our better halfs. Is that okay or No??

Also do we pay threre? I havent read all the posts so I dont know all the smaller details?

makes me wish the drive wasnt so far out.

Oh is that a wall mount church key or a thermometer on the side of your shed ? Had to ask......

hey tunaman I've been contemplating building a barbecue too. all your missing is the natural gas hook up, and electricity under ground. come on man looks sweet don't cheese out on all amenity

It's a mixed-mode Pete... wives are definitely welcome! Bring Carissa for sure - she'll have a blast also.

Too bad you can't make it... this one should be worth it!

We'll see how this goes, and maybe try to make it an annual Nutcase event with better planning next time.

The thermometer on the shed is a little trinket I just got from eBay - RANGER ROCKS! :D

We can talk this weekend... I've got the gas and electric in the far corner of the yard, on an elevated section. I don't want a BBQ too close to the house, so I don't smoke out the house. This is just for entertaining, so we have better seating for our guests.

I thought you in a g string and mona walking you around in a choke chain was for entertaining the guests. Oh shoosh my bad that was another party. Nolooks good i just haven't found the time to start mine have to knock out a kitchenet in the backyard first. so when you put up the pics I was jealous

Hehehe... wrong party doggie!

Well, it is certainly well-engineered... it isn't going anywhere once I get it finally finished. Haven't worked with steel studs since my sparky days over 20 years ago, and even then it was just little tasks a commercial electrician runs up against. This is WORK! Don't seem to move as quickly as I once did, so it is taking much longer than I estimated... I'm really under the gun now! Oh well - love pressure!

Thanks Jim - appreciate it. I'm currently in the process of installing plywood siding now, though, so I'm good. Actually, ended up with one section of track and two extra studs, so I did pretty good for the first attempt at metal framing!

IT IS PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't quite make my goal of tiling the island, but it's covered so it will function. I'm wiped out, but got most of my project done, the backyard spic and span, the pool is ready (got to test it out today), and Mona did the shopping today.

I've got some things to do tomorrow, so I've still got a busy day ahead of me, but we'll be in good shape by check-in.

Thanks to Gary (GT5bass) and John (Nunyo) for offering up some additional goodies for the drawings, so there will be lots of cool stuff to win.

See those of you who are coming tomorrow!
