If you don't know Erick Prado personally he is a great guy and more importantly an excellent person. He's quick with a joke but quicker to lend a hand when help is needed and can take a ribbing like you wouldn't believe. Those of us that do know him know what I'm talking about.

He's in the hospital and not doing well. He needs all of our prayers.

He's at the Kaiser Permanente hostpital in Hollywood. He's in RM 512, bed A.

PS... what happened to him does anybody know?

Some kind of major infection that they can't figure out where it's coming from is what I have heard. He told me last night that he was better and in a lot less pain. He said the whiteman's disease would never keep him down! LOL

I saw Erick this morning, and he said he thought they were going to let him go home tomorrow.
I'll let him tell the whole story.
Suffice it to say he's facing a long road to recovery.
They finally figured out he's allergic to dinks!

I hope he gets let out soon! At the bowling deal last weekend we had a talk about what he's going through along with what my family is going through. He seems like he's in a great state of mind about the card he has been dealt, I'm sure he'll get through all of what he has in front of him. Keep your spirit's high Erick, you'll be fine!

It's reminded me to appreciate what I have taken for granted, that's for sure.

I just heard that he went home today. Heard that second hand and have not confirmed.

Sounds about right. I've been away from my computer for a while so I didn't realize he was in the hospital. Called him yesterday while I was at school and he told me. Said he would be out of the place today or thereabouts. I might see him Tuesday if he feels well enough to hit up the water.

Andy, Thanks for keeping us posted! Both Tony and myself freaked
when we first read the thread. I can't wait to see him in Vegas, and
I certainly hope he feels good enough to come to my party! I am starting to get excited about ICAST! Hanging out with Erick again will be way too cool.

Hope everything works out well Eric, Hope to see you soon at clearlake for HBC 2. I met him at ISE San Mateo and he approached me with nothing but good and a few black dog questions. See ya soon buddy wether its at HBC or Bassathon 08
