I am going to maintain my normal routine at the Rallies, going out each session and chunking and winding and with a tad of luck catching a fish or two..On second thought make that a lot of luck..
There seems to be a lack of any kind of talk about the Rally, smack or otherwise..But I will wager a buck Cooch does not repeat..

Will it ever come back to the Delta?

Brian,
Clear Lake is a much better venue for a Rally. Nut Case Classics work out well on the Delta and I am sure we will always have them there, but the Rally is a different event with it being two days and requiring hotel space, eating halls and etc. For instance we need a dock that can occomodate 40-50 boats being tied up while we eat lunch. No place on the Delta can handle that without impacting their business. Konocti Vista does that easily.
Come on up to Clear Lake and you will see. The fishing is easier in the summer than the Delta. Even someone not familiar with Clear lake can catch fish.
PS - No smack from me. Too busy these days.

Sorry Guys, but I just can't stay ought of this one!
Shoot , I may not even be there this year, as I am still waiting for event's to unfold and wont know until the week before the rally, sorry gator.
So with all that dribble said.
Who is going to be king of the rally this year
If i do make it and g-man lands on my boat, I will personally turn him into a giant swim bait, put a size 12 ought hook in his fanny and tow him around and bounce him off the bottom and rock piles around jago bay.
I don't expect a L/M on him but a 100 pound catfish or carp is certain on such a contraption.
Hell even if I don't catch a fish with him in tow, I can always say he's my ODD NUT

You guys can’t talk smack just like you can’t fish!
Do you ever wonder why Gator runs tournaments – because he can’t fish them?
As for Mac – he can’t even use a simple little tool and he going to fish.
Brian makes excuses about coming down to the Delta – he could find a guppy in a fish bow.
Dewayne – well enough said - you just need to say Dewayne – he fishes for carp.
Johnny C got lost at the winter nutcase and the only way he found the launch ramp was the smell of the BQ.
As for James - the only thing he can catch is blind old fish.
Guy can’t even count cards, you know he can’t fish.
Then there is this Juror G-Man, he has to pick up his pants just to step into the boat.
As for the Cooch man – hell I seen better lags on a bar stool!
Now that is smack talking – give me your best shot – no stop sign on my chest!

Looks like g-man won't be fishing either as he only paid the $15 and not the required $65 to fish the rally.

It's a really good chance to put names to faces. You also might get the chance to fish such noted anglers as Gary Ryon (Long Nut 2006) from the southern board.
I expect him to enter the next season of "Dancing with the Stars".
Every time Gary catches a fish over a pound and a half he does his breakdancing routine on the rear deck.
It's a sight to behold.

OK I think we need to settle two scores here once and for ALL. We combine the allusive Paint Ball Battle, with the NutCase Rally and really do this thing up like the bunch of Redneck Thrill Billies that we are
I can just see it now...cooch is flippin the docks or throwin his punker PING PING PNG and off goes G-man screamin down the shore lookin for his next victim....we can have a new nut awarded the Best Baller Nut...

Hey Guy Kelly, that sure was a lot of dribblin' fer an old fart who can't tell basketball from bass fishing.
And the only Smack Dewayne ever gits, is from them lil bitty swimbait fish slappin at his frog in that pound outside his office!
Gator, Marty nailed ya! HAR! HAR !HAR!
Ash, yer prolly in the best shape, first I teach ya that jig thing up here, then I gotta show ya the ropes as a Mod, but ya better think twice if'n yer gonna git any golden nut tips outa me! Course, my soft spot is Corona! HAR!

Hub who? Oh you mean that there pansy azz boy who's been fishing cashtaic and DVL all year. I heard a year ago dat ole hub spinner threw his back out catching a clear lake fish, so he had to move down south and fish with 6lb test and buggy whips, as not to hurt himself.
So you telling me that ole hub spinna's back has healed, he bought some 20lb test and is ready to catch REAL bass again
I just dont believe it, between that and Coochie Coo claiming a treepeat.... next thing you know guys on this board are gonna be saying that santar cluase and da Easter Bunny will be showing up for this event!

. Doing the HBC July 11th and then BOB's Marine Owners Sep. 6th & 7th with the wife @ Clear Lake. Thats all the Clear Lake I can afford.
Maybe next year.... try again.
