IMPORTANT QUAGGA MUSSEL INSPECTION INFORMATION
Effective July 1, 2008, the quagga mussel inspection and certification for Clear Lake now costs $10. If your boat does not pass the initial inspection, further inspection is required at an additional cost - based on boat length.
Here is the official Lake County press release regarding the new policy and procedure:

Here is a blank copy of the required application (affidavit) for the inspection process (two pages):

If your boat has not been inspected and does not have a valid inspection sticker on it, it is recommended that you print out this application form, complete it, and bring it with you to the inspection location of your choice.
For HBC-2, inspections will be available at Konocti Vista Casino Marina beginning at 3:00 AM on Friday morning, July 11, 2008. However, to expedite matters on Friday morning, we encourage all HBC Anglers and camera/staff boat operators to get their boats inspected in advance of the tournament. Once your boat has been inspected, we will allow you to launch your boats on Thursday and immediately put them into a slip in the Konocti Vista Casino Marina. (Note: Each slip has an electrical plug to charge your batteries, if you wish).
