Navionics and the Delta

I recently moved to Nor Cal (Benicia) and was wondering if the Navionics Premium chip would be worth getting for the Delta?

I currently have the Lowrance LMS 26c HD and the detail is pretty good on the built-in Nauti Path map but was curious if the Navionics might be better. :?:

Thanks, John Hagins.

I have the Navionics Gold in a 28 HD and frankly, I use the Nautic Path loaded on the hard drive, 99% of the time. I should just switcht the card to my 520 up front but I use GPS so infrequently from the bow it makes no sense. Coming from someone with both, I'd say save your money the Nautic Path is better. Colors and detail both look better to my eye.

One of the most useful features of the Nautic-path are the tide charts. As least for me a I use the tides for my reason I am not catching fish. Are the tide charts incorporated in the Premium? Navigating the Delta solely by a card's information is a sure path to disaster. There is so much info on the Natic-path I see myself locking out categories. Can't imagine needing anything else.

John you Moved  do you have a spare room for a weekend or just room on the driveway to park another boat so I can sleep on the front deck and get some power LOL J/k

If you would like I could send you my 2008 Nav Permium chip for a week and you could make up your own mind and then just send it back, I just sented my 2 27's to Linda Colt to be replaced so I don't need the card for a week or 2
