You send a friendly private message to someone asking certain questions related to fishing and you know they read it because it moved from your outbox to the sent box, roughly two weeks ago,and you receive no response, should you allow more time for a response or would you take it as a snub, dont bother me.Just wondering.

I would resend the message, not take it as a snub. If they are a friend why not call them?

Sometimes I log on check the boards and do not reply right away to the PM due to time restraints and forget to reply.

One of the nice features of electronic text communication is the ability to respond at your leisure. Sometimes I have the time to read a message, but have to wait before I have enough time to respond or do some research before responding.

I would re-send the message and if you don't receive a reply within a few days I would consider it a snub. Most of us are much better at verbal communication then writing. For this reason I recommend re-reading what you sent to check if it could have been misunderstood.

Prolly just spaced it out....Like Rip with a serious case of CRS. I send Rip a message and he will eventually answer it. People do get busy and sometimes don't remember to send a response. Just resend it and if you don't get response again...... fa git about it.

Tom,
where do you find that stuff, to funny.

If you're referring to me Al, I've been crazy busy and I'm sorry it took so long to get back.
Here is something for you to chew on.
