Lake Perris?

anyone have any insight as to when the dam project will start and what it entails. I've heard some rumors and it doesn't sound good.
I heard Tony Hawk was the project manager and wants to put the tower in the east end of the lake and build the dam up 50 feet and take the island out for better 720's plus dredge out the silt so Perris might be closed for 5-8 years while he's working there. The project might start in the end of 09.
