Has anyone read what Dotties length and girth measurements were?

Frozen solid and slightly askew "dottie" is ~29"-29 1/2" long and 27" girth. I need to thaw her out for precise measurements though.

Thanks for responding. The measurements are good for 19.5 lbs that she weighed when found floating. Too bad the measurements were not taken right away. Frozen; the fish will shrink, the tail dries and shrinks.
If Dottie was a 100% girth bass; girth equals length, then a 29 1/2 long bass X 29 1/2 girth would be close to 21.5 lbs. So it's possible that Dottie was 30" or maybe a lttle longer and over 22 lbs.
Dottie would need to be over 32 inches with close to 100% girth to make the 25 lb mark and I don't think she lost 2+" in length.
Whatever length Dottie was, she was a giant bass and possibly the world record.

if i remember correctly she was all of 25lbs. on a certified scale but snagged instead of caught in the mouth so she won't get to be a do over since she died! I'm sure there are still a few lurking around in the spring justing waiting for stardom!

A lot of conflicting weights were reported for this fish. The 25.1 was the weight that was reported by the angler on his digital scale, 21+ was another weight at the boat dock. To the best of my knowledge the bass was released before being weighed on a certified scale and validated.
I agree a world record bass could be out there somewhere. Dixon for example could have several "Dottie" bass with identicle dot marks, they are not that uncommon.
