hey guys i was wonderin if yall can help me out. i have a 1989 johnson v6 200 motor on my bass boat. when i start it up at the house i notice it only runs for a bit then shuts off
. i would repump my ball hard and start it again. after it runs for a bit it shut off again. i notice my ball is soft. so my question is it normal for the motor to shut off or is there something wrong with my motor?

has it been a while since you started it up?
time for a tune up... just like your car, you can swap out your fuel filter, lines, plugs, ignition and etc. just like your car....
