Anyone know where i can find a bass boat with no motor that would work with a 150HP engine. Found one on craigslist for $3000.00 but its a 20 footer how would that run with a 150?

Give Scott Green a call at Marine Unlimited. i know he has a 1987 Ranger in great shape down there cheap. He might be able to steer you in the right direction.

I'm no boat/motor expert, but assuming that 20 footer is a glass boat, I don't think you'd be too happy with it. The power to weight ratio doesn't compute right. You'd be better off to find something smaller for that motor. Like maybe in the 17 to 18' range.

You would seriously regret putting a 150 on most 20' boats. It would be a bit slow, and probably pretty sluggish hopping on plane. The majority of 18 footers out there are perfect for a 150, and a few 17 footers will also accept one. You may also consider looking for boats that are no longer made, such as Viper/Cobra, Javelin, and Fisher.
