STREN on Roosevelt, where to stay?

Looking for some input on where to stay for Roosevelt T. RV park prefered with full hook ups but if that is a no go, I can hotel it if need be.

Several camgrounds around Roosevelt but no hook-ups that I recall. Nearest hotel will be in Globe, AZ about 15 miles away. That is how I recall it anyways from visit a couple years ago.

Try the Matazal Casino hotel in Payson if you can't get a room at the Tonto Basin Inn near the lake. I suspect the Payson casino is going to be the hotel used by most. No power at any of the lake campgrounds but they are nice with canopy tables and there is a shower in each campground at Cholla.

Give Spring Creek Inn a try, its an rv park with full hookups and has about 10 motel rooms. Puts you 5min from the Schoolhouse ramp in the salt end and 20min to the Cholla ramp. 928-467-2888
