hey roger, last night i posted a new topic of p.m. for kirk twice and it would show up on the forum and then 2 min. later it was gone! is there no more posting of p.m's?

That is correct Slimmy, when you log on, there will be a notification in the WB task bar between yer Profile and the Log in/out link that indicates to users they have a PM. Thee is also an option that can be set in yer profiles to either notify the user via e-mail or a pop up that is going to indicate to folks they have a PM here, it's a complete waist of space and board clutter to continue to have these on the Forums.

There has yet to be a line added in the rules for this, yet there has been discussion among the powers that be and the mods to manage it. And No, I was not the removing culprit! HAR!

Ah, got it. PM's work, just someone started nuking the "You've got mail" posts... as Cooch said, there has been discussion about adding a rule and starting to enforce it, but I'd expect we'd make a notification to the members before doing so.

As Cooch also pointed out, there are a few ways to know when you have a PM, so there really shouldn't be a need to make a separate post. Sorry you got caught up as the first 'victim'!
