Any stories from FPT Clear Lake ?

Lots of bed fish, I didn't see to many big females.

I did have one 7#er that got off at the boat.

I had another 5- 7#er that was on a bed but she wasn't ready. Went back later and guess she was by then and someone else got her. Oh well.

What a great time, took my 15 yr old nephew out for his first tournament and it will be one to remember. Second cast of the morning he stuck a 5 1/2 lb. and proceeded to get our bag within the first hour.look forward to doing it again

what was the winning weight

We took 12th with 19+lbs& third bigfish. 22+lbs took the tourny Lots of bed fish but they all were from 1.5 to 3lbs that we found. Lots of fish to catch!!!

took 5th with 20.65lbs.

My brother caught a 20lbrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It came off at the boat..
Problem 1--It was foul hooked.
Problem 2-- It was a Carp... LOL!
We got 17.39lbs by sight fishing in the North!!
What place with that get us???

Thanks brent. Lots of little fish shallow bigger fish were outside. Not alot of bites , but the right ones. Just needed to cull one more for the win. Maybe next time.

Terry how much did your big fish weigh?

Big Fish was 7+ lbs. and was caught by the son of Mr. Gomez who the plague is in memory of. It was a great story and exciting to watch his two sons receive the award. I also saw a great effort by Vince and his staff to make sure that fish were handled properly. Excellent job staff and contestants! It was another great time on one of the greatest fisheries anywhere IMO.
