Been experimenting with the snell knot for flipping with braid. Great results so far. One question, anyone have a trick for a quick way to get line off hook when it is time to retie. Only thing I can think of is burning it off, but I don't like the idea of havin a hot hook then when retying. Tough to get off with a scissors. any idears.

Carry a small razor knife with you, when you want to retie, just slide the razor along the backside of the hook from bottom to top. It cuts every looped section of the knot and then you have a fresh tag end to retie with.

It's the quickest and best way to remove the knot from a hook and doesn't run the risk of scaring the hook like when using scissors!
