I've tried a couple different methods but still feel very disorganized when it comes to storing plastics. Would like to hear from others with regards to what you ended up doing with ALL THESE PLASTIC BAITS!

I have 10 of them all organized. Best solution I have found so far. They will hold allot more than they say.

What ever you use leave the worms in its original bag and never mix plastics. I just throw my worms in a Rubbermaid box. I then place the hot bait for the day in my pocket as the day goes on.

Well for me i store all in plano 3700 and use a label maker on the outside thats just mostly for at home. ...
Then when i am going to the delta i get a few empty plano boxes and put my delta colors in them by category ie crankbaits, jigs, worms . etc etc ... if i go to a clear water lake i will load those appropriate baits in boxes to go there. .... If i go to the local pond just moments from my house then i will load 1 box and a takle logic worm wrap (certain color) by plano. it just depends cause now i have so many lures i have a delta wrap bag(blue) a clear lake bag (red) and a clear water lake bag(dark blue) all with appropriate baits for that specific lake or style of lake.
BTW i dont own a boat otherwise i'd just pack the 3700's for each trip and not minimize as much. It sounds like alot but is actually a great system. Minimizing lures that are fad baits that dont produce results for you will help imensely!!!
Finding a system that works for you is definately KEY cause if you are on the water worrying about lures,storage, and did i bring the red bag instead of the blue bag or "oh where did i put that lure ? " then you are loosing valuable fishing time and concentration on the task at hand.

I use ziplock gallon size bags and label them with a sharpie as to whats inside. then I throw all the ziplocks in a large tackle bag. It's not the prettiest but it works for me and only cost about $5 for the bags.

I put mine in either a quart or gallon sized ziploc bag (depending on how much I have), label the color it is with a sharpie, then get a brown paper lunch bag and put the kind of plastics (like senkos, beavers, ect..) on the outside of the bag. Saves a lot of for me.

The $1,000,000 question...and the reality of the matter is you have to try each and every method till you find which one you like.

For me, organization is key, with all of my fishing equipment, not just plastics. I'm by no means a tournament angler who need to be able to get to a biat as fast as possible, but it makes it really easy when you have a very preciese organization system.

For plastics, I love the Plano 3700 boxes. Example, I have one box that is filled with Sweet Beavers and Smallie Beavers and I can fit 12 different sizes or colors in this box, with that, I have the beaver bases covered and its all in one box. For Berkley powerbait stuff I have a box, albeit a diverse mix of baits, but I always know right where to find a chigger craw.

In total, I have about 15, 3700 sized boxes that carry all of my baits and terminal tackle. I can fit all the boxes in the front center storage compartment in my boat, so I don't go getting in the way of my backseater to get stuff.

The great thing is that Plano makes the 3700 size in varying depths, so I have the deep one for my swimbaits, a couple shallow ones for Terminal and Finesse Terminal tackle and of course a bunch of the regular depth ones for everything else.

+1 This works for me also , I tried the boxes , tackle bags , didn't last. I carry way too much tackle in the boat , but I do have a pretty empty starboard side short rod locker.Well ,was empty , till it got filled with all the plastics.Different gallon size bags filled , labled-senkos , large senko , beavers , worms etc.,etc..Works good for me open locker , labels are all facing me,quick ,easy , no need to open a box to see if that color is in there.Been using this system for a couple years now.

I use a rubbermade shoe box.
