a couple of my baitcasters that iv logged alot of miles on are starting to click. the handle has some play, when i move it in or out the spool will move in the opposite direction. iv taken them apart but i cant find anyway to tighten it up. theyve got some miles but it seems a little early for them to wear out. anyone know the trick?

Not take em apart unless you are a reel repairman?

That's what I do. Mine are fine going on 10 years for a few.

what kind are they? I know you can send em to shimano for a tune up. Not to pricey. Or there are reel tuners that can get it better than new. They both will see the parts that wear first and make adjustments that you will LOVE
