Hey everyone, the meeting got moved up to this Tuesday to get the funds approved for the ramp, so I will post Tuesday when I get back and let you all know what happened. We are getting closer!!!

I would walk 3 miles up hill in the snow(both ways ) to get my rig back on DVL!! Its gonna be a great 2010. Thank you Megan for all your hard work. U rock!! Nate

SEEING is Believing. I'm far from a believer yet.
Time will tell----but don't get your plans set- TALK IS CHEAP and right now that is what MWD can afford.

Look at all the costs that are being avoided now. No contract w/ Riv. S.O. --skeleton crew--some private security but far from what is called for when the lake fills w/ fishermen and the Liabilities of those death defying bass boats.
Remember MWD is having the best of both worlds now---a big bucket to keep their water in and virtually no one there. WHY would they want to change that.

TIME will tell if their talk and 'plans' are sincere--but right now it's a show. Let's see................Yeah I'm a doubter but as I started; "Seeing is believing!"

Hey everyone, got back from L.A. this morning. The vote was PASSED to go ahead and award the monies, there was still the one district that is denying it but the votes that were needed were there!! Basically what this means from my contact there is:

It will still need to be ratified (sp?) in Septembers meeting but the fact that most board members were there along with the executive members (this meeting was called "executive comittee meeting") so there should be no problem in September. I asked her what was the purpose of this meeting then, she said so they can go ahead and get the contract ready prior to the September meeting and be able to move things along a lot faster. Construction will hopefully start prior to the October date that she had originally. Shes expecting us to be back on the water by February. Like I've explained before this is going off of water projections which can always change but its very promising. Also what helped this is the contractor that got the job came in very competitive.

Keeping a positive attitude has gotten me miles with the board and I will continue with that attitude till it is done.

Is Last Chance moving? If so, where?

They will be moving a mile or little more down Sanderson towards DVL. Way better location because they will have more parking, more square footage and three way traffic lights for better access and departure!
