We've got an angler that is having a hard time signing up for the forums so we'll go ahead and ask his question here until we get him signed in.
"Who might make the very best darter heads these days? The ones that dart back and forth with little or no rod tip action."

If you read the bassdozer article on the internet he puts great store in a balanced head that actually darts back and forth, but often find myself hopiing, or dragging or ripping the bait. so Im not sure what makes a great darter head. I use berserkbaits darter heads.

Gann's Performance Tackle has great ones. These are all I have used for the last 6 or 7 years. I had them before Gann's did. Limit lures possibly is the same mold. Not sure here. Also check out the hooks for proper size. Some companies (and fishermen) have pretty set ideas on particular hooks and sizes. Many times this is more important than the style of the head.

i normally like all things gamakatsu but i do NOT like the design of their darterheads. they snag everything and dredge up every single piece of grass or weed between it and your rod tip. they also have a nasty habit of nestling themselves into every nook and cranny in a rockpile. i like the lim-it ones and plan to try the phenix darter heads next.

I have been using Big Daddy's from Fishermans Warehouse for years. You can buy a 50pk for $9.99 and they work GREAT!!!!! I can say that I have never lost a fish because of the hook, not even quite sure of what hook they use? Maybe an eagle claw, but ethier way I like them

To further gain knowledge of dartheadin because I'm not very good at it, what makes a good darthead? I see them with pointy heads, round heads, keeper systems, etc. Aside from the obvious of using spinning gear, without mentioning brands, what type of rods do people prefer?
Thirsty for knowledge, hit me.
