Future of ReelEx

Valued customers,
I cannot begin to thank you enough for all of the support. Nothing in business is more imprtant to me than my customers satisfaction, and their appreciation for quality, educated service. Anyone can pick up a screw driver or pick and open up a reel, but few if any cared more than I did about making sure the job was done right, and that there was a benefit to my customer in doing business with ReelEx.
I sincerely apologize for losing that focus in the midst of all that transpired this week. I did feel totally justified in doing what I did, and it really would not have been too hard until you all started with this out pouring of support. Truly amazing, and truly humbling. I owe you all a huge debt of graditude.
Look, I take full responsibility for the actions I have taken. Some have said I'm the best around, well, that's not for me to decide. I appreciate that, but in this case I think I fell a bit short by putting my feelings first, without taking into consideration all of those who have supported me through the beginning years, and there have been many.
Honestly, I feel as though I've let myself, Shimano, and all of my customers, past, present, and future down. For that I apologize as well, and I can assure you I rarely make the same mistake twice. I got into this out of a passion for a super product and amazing company, that's why I specialize exclusively in Shimano, not to mention the added benefit of interacting with so many awesome poeple. Why I let one individual scew my view of all this is beyond me? But I did, and again I apologize for the selfishness.
Also, I would like to send out a special thanks to KB, Scott Green, Brian Stafford, Tom LeoGrande, Tony Stoltz, Andy Cuccia, Bantam1, Wade Curtiss, Jeff, Derbingel, and Al Shields. The time these individuals took, and all of YOUR posts made it impossible for me to just walk away. Thank you all for the reality check, and preventing me from making an ever bigger mistake. Just the loan of your ears, and friendship mean the world.
In closing, I just want to say I fully realize there maybe some shots coming my way because of my next statement.
It's all good, should you feel the need, feel free. But when it came right down to it, I was made to realize the choice was mine. I could either chose to let the positive win, or I chose to let the negative win. Not a hard decison.
My promise....I will do everthing possible to make ReelEx an even better experience for everyone, beginning NOW!
Thank you all again, and the website will be back up by Monday.
Sincerely,
Dan
