A weird thing happened after the attacks.
My kid got a fire truck for Christmas, and I was saddled with cutting the the thing loose from all its wires tied to the box. It had sirens, radio talk, flashing lights etc.
I was flipping it over, back and forth cutting it free, and an uneasy feeling came over me.
Figured out what it was, the background lithograph was New York with the Towers still in place, dominating the background.
They were not there anymore.
I know the packaging design was probably cut a year or more in advance, and this was a production thing.
But it left me sitting there staring at a piece of cardboard.

Wow, while searching the web for a friend's number I came across his brothers website (he's a fireman in San Diego), found he had a website on the 911 memorial, perfect timing:

I,m sorry but we have already forgotten. We elected Barrack Hussein Obama and now we are allowing a mosque to be built on ground zero by the same people who attacked us.
The muslims are winnig and we are letting it happen. we will not do anything that might offend the people who will kill us if we do not become muslims.
So if you want to remember something ,remember how America used to be ,for we no longer have the guts to stand up to our enemies and it,s just a matter of time until The muslims will take over.

And your initial post was that of a typical racist. I happen to have several Muslim friends. They are good, honest people. They are teachers, doctors, students, soldiers, and patriots. People who I am proud to call my friends and colleagues. Your ignorant and pathetic post is typical of the "new breed" of racists that are being tolerated (even encouraged) by some because it is convenient for a particular political view.
Also typical, is that you make your offensive comments while you hide behind your computer and a screen name. I seriously doubt you would make the same comment away from the anonymous comfort of a computer in a dark room.
