Are there any problems with using automoble clear coat paint on a bass boat?

I'd suggest you contact Donnie Petersen, at Anglers Marine Anaheim.
He does all their fiberglass work, and will have the answer.

Don't do it, you will probably regret it. Gel Coat can be sprayed on and refinished to a like new finish. In many cases a faded finish can be color sanded and polished to look new again.
