It's Official...I'm In!

Hey all I just wanted to say it’s official; I’m in the 2005 BassMasters Classic. I just received the call from BASS confirming my position and they have announced the final qualifiers last night on Bass Center. Nice touch from Byron with the “Go west sideâ€

Just do us all a favor and don't pull an IKE with the camera on you at the classic. And definately stay away from any sort of victory dance if the fish is under 5lbs! Har!

I don't know any competetive bass fisherman that haven't dreamed of fishing "The Classic". I for one am part of the "west side" and will be watching.

When you found out. I have always recognized you as a superior fisherman and now the world of fishing will recognize that fact as well.
Winning the classic would be wonderful but just qualifying for it and fishing it is a dream way beyond anything that most of us can aspire to.
You make all of us who know you, feel a little closer to that posibility for ourselves.
You spoke of meeting your heros. Those of us who know you can say that we have met one of ours.
I want to you to know that you have my sincere respect and congratulations.
