Coming from Havasu AC tournament at the Agriculture check point my boat was searched for quagga muzzles by a dog. Took not time at all, less than a minute. Sure beats the heck out of quarantine or some of the other out landish methods out there. Boat had been out of the water less than 2 hrs and the dog didn't find anything.

did they tag your boat ? pretty cool about the dog sniffer.. its amazing how strict one lake can be and other inspections leave a LOT to be desired... one lake i wont mention names, the person asked me to look in my livewell, and from about 5 feet away said your good to go, that was it... didnt even look at my drain plug, or trim my motor down... it was good and fast for me, but kind of a joke this whole inspection thing and how they dont have any set regulations for EVERY lake to follow, then you should be good at EVERY lake once you clear inspections and get tagged ? makes sense but i keep forgetting this is california :(

No tag, but very quick. I'm sure that the tag idea won't fly because it precludes each and every entity from charging you a fee, and after all, top to bottom beginning to end its all about money.

Now, please don't tell me that's a DEA photo, and she's a mule. I might have to go back to using.
