My motor took a crap about a month ago. it wont be fixed until late august but i NEED to go fishing now! Anybody know a good place to drop a float tube in the delta where there is not to much current/wind as i dont want to end up in the bay. Although I dont know if I like the idea of my legs dangling in that nasty water just waiting for some type of creature to grab them.just kidding! (at least i hope so!)

Im sure a good samaritan would spot ya floatin down the channel near pittsburg and get my shipmates here at sta vallejo to pick ya up just kiddin. Call Extreme angler at the number below any staff member should be able to give ya some good spots. Im just having a brain fart and cant remember the name of the one I was going to suggest. But there are spots in Disco you can put in at and it shouldnt ever be too bad to fish in there.

7 mile slough on the delta loop. You can park at the end at owl harbor.
HWY 12

There are a couple of accesses off oc HWY 12, one would be Terminous Inland off of HWT 12 near Tower Park Marina, I think the parking and public acess docs are state park lands. HWY 12 also gives you access to the north side of Whites Slough.
Check this link.
