For some reason I'am having a hell of a time getting hooked up using ishes phat frog tons of blow ups just ccant hook them. What do you guys think the problem is?

You may be setting the hook to soon, Wait till the rod starts to load up. Never set by what you see, go by what you feel.

X2 on the waiting part. Its hard especially when its a huge blow up or if your paying half *** attention such happens to us all. Just keep practicing @ it.

Change colors, sometimes your close but not quit right. Another thing, it's been cool the last few days that could have something to do with it. But the 1st advice is the most important. good luck.

And try slowing the retrieve down just a lil. Walk walk pause, walk, pause. Helps me out on the delta. Pauses right by hydrilla points or where grass line drops off.

I fish frogs alot and never have this problem but This is the first time using ish frog but I think your right its the weather.

Tell me where the spots are and I will go see if my phat frog gets ate.
