I would like to get some input on comparing the Lew's Speed Spool Tournament Pro model tp1sh 7:1:1 vs the Shimano e7.
I already own some e7's and love them but how about the Lew's?

I've owned an e7, but I've never owned or thrown a Lew's, so I'm just basing my comparison on similar reels I have owned. I sold my e7 because I thought it was too rough on the retrieve for what I wanted it for, which was throwing reaction baits.
For heavier reaction baits, like spinnerbaits, and bigger cranks, the 10 bearings of the Lew's reel will make it easier on you during the course of a day. A couple of those bearings should be in the handles, and that makes a huge difference when you're chucking and winding all day.
For jigs and worming, slower finesse techniques, the Curado e7, at 1.1oz lighter but with only 5 bearings, will be easier on you if you're fishing slow all day.
That said, a lot of people love their e7's for everything, so it is a matter of getting your hands on both, and seeing what works for you.

The original Curado E7 is now the Chronarch E7, the 2012 Curado isn't the same reel.
Compare the Chronarch to the Lewis pro; same price range.
