The Lucas Oil Summer Classic is approaching fast. Anyone from here going to fish? What a great summer time tournament ABA, Lucas Oil, Ranger and Mercury are putting on.

Where else will you find an event on the West Coast with a Pro pay back of 107% (not including the big fish option money) and that will be Nationally Televised?

This is the biggest tournament the West Coast angers have to fish this year and summer! Hopefully many will step up and fish it rather than sit on the sidelines to "watch" and see how the first event goes because like anything ABA does it will be a 1st class event.

So who's all fishing?

Just curious: How is this bigger than the US OPEN?

Sounds like a good turnout from the rumor mill and it also sounds like the fishing is very good. All those 11-13 inch smallies are now close to 2 lbs and everywhere. 40lbs is my guess what the 3 day total will be around. With the exception of a few holdouts, most of the Anglers Marine regular pro staffers will be there. Jordan and Kay from our service staff will be there with the Tournament truck at the Sunset Station starting Sunday AM thru Wednesday AM to help with any parts, accessories, tackle and mechanical issues anyone will have. We will also be there with all the Ranger service parts should there be any issues. Good luck to all. Rick G.
