Their tournament total tipped the scales at 51.66.
Magill reported they had their first day's limit of 26.20 and no more would fit in the livewell, so they went to the scales a couple of hours early and saved their fish for Day 2. "We left 'em bitin' and hoped they would be there in the morning," stated Magill.
Belmont revealed a combo of a LV 500 and swimbaits were responsible for the winning fish.
While Magill is planning to tuck his share of the winnings away for a rainy day, Belmont said he is grabbing the family and doing what all the super sports stars do after a big win ..."We're goin' to Disneyland." They thanked for Randy and all the BBT staff for an awesome season.
