I have a bunch of reels that need to be serviced. These include ABU's and shimano's. Does anyone have a suggestion as to who services both reel types in the bay area as I am looking for a quick turn around as well.
Thanks in advance for any help given.

I know you're looking for local service but I would tell you to send them to ReelEx. Dan does the best work and has fast turn around time, with shipping! You can find him on here and he usually runs some sort of special every so often.

It is my understanding that Reel Ex only services Shimano reels. Sounds like you are looking for someone to service ABUs also...
I'd recomend Larry's Reel Repair in Vallejo. He did a great job on my Revo's. I shipped them to him and he shipped ther serviced reels back. The whole process didn't take more than a week.

ReelEx is the way to go for Shimano reels. It's amazing what he does. I will swear to you the reels come back working BETTER than new! I just had a few more done recently and the turnaround is amazing.

I just sent my shimanos to Reelex, but I also would like someone for my other reels. Try Larys and come back on and let us know how he does

Jon,
Ship the Shimanos to Dan, he did a chronarch for me and WOW. Far as the ABU's go, check Fishermans Warehouse, or call Jon Walton and see who he recommends

I would be happy to take care of your Shimano products, and yes those are the only ones I service at this time. John at Walton's can certainly take care of the others I'm sure. Biggest issue right now with any reel is parts availability. I have what you need for yours, and it would be my pleasure as I said. I will be at BassPro Friday and Hi's on Saturday if your near either you can drop them by.
Thanks for all of the support guys I really appreciate it.
