I have a minnkota 101 but only have room for 3 batteries I have been running it with all 3 linked to get 36 volts but by the middle of the day when I hit the trolling motor my graph will turn off or when the live well comes on it will cause the graph to turn off thought it was bad batteries so I replaced them still does it. Will it hurt anything if I run it on 24 volts other than take away power to the trolling motor??

the control board is a 24-36 volt board. the motor will run,
but your amp draw will double. so the batteries won't last
as long. i only have room in my boat for 3 batteries and i run
a 101. the trick is to put in group 31 batteries, group 29 will
work. if you go 31's you will have to put in larger battery trays.
i don't use my live wells any longer since i'm a rec. fisherman.

any dip under 12v will shut the graph down (at least lowrance)

I would put the Group 31's in and also get a Stealth charger. That way you would have 36 volts and would charge the batteries while you were running the big motor
