I've got to get this albatross from around my neck (numb nut award- although well deserved since I fell in during the last one, first and last time- so far). And since the winners get to choose the 'next' rally location and time, and since none of the other 'winners' have stepped up to do so, I'll go ahead and get this ball rolling.

It's been well over a year since we had one.

And since it's been sooooooooooooooooooooo long, I propose one of the old style, two days w/ three separate legs. Two on a Saturday, with a Sunday finale. The usual blind draw doubles. It would be for the weekend of October 12th and 13th (was going to be the 5th and 6th, this is an update), held at the Delta. BBQ's, parties, lies and other assorted happenings.

got 'em good last year at this time. Great time for a fun tourney...

Not sure about A two day even in Oct just incase of rain.But I should be able to make it with the COORS LIGHT KITTYCAT!!!!!

Heck, the one we had about four years ago, on Jan. 2nd, was in a major freezing winter rain storm. Bassanova Marty showed me you could run 5' waves across Frank's Tract and survive in an aluminum boat. Of course, my wool cap was missing when we came off plane and somehow my 100 mPH rain suit got water inside!


I think I heard this type of thing was why they called it the 'nutcase rally' some time back.

October 5th-6th is the Angler's Choice WRL TOC out of Russos. You could run it out of another marina in another County, but that weekend in Contra Costa is booked.

triton owners tournament is also that weekend.

Sorry if you can't make it and were wanting to Jeff. Don't see any other conflicts that would stop Russo's being used at this point. So that is the date still.

A bit slow on commitments, too many TOC's this time of year I hear.
Woflman is planing a Winter Rally.
He's got a FB page set up for it, PM him for address.

Anyone want to back seat with me next week let me know. I can fish till
Thurs, then I'm headed to Carmel to give a three day photo workshop.
