That's great news. I can only imagine how much Zequanox is going to cost per gallon? All "Effective" aquatic chemicals come with a hefty price tag.

So if each and every bass boat bought $25 worth and dumped it in their lake could we get rid of the problem? Just make it available at the gate when you pay you fee or at the local tackle store before you get on the water.

They should use it now while the lake levels are down. Good idea though.

Creating saturation zones around water infrastructure and locks/dams is the first step.
I wonder how much this Davis company is going to soak us for keeping our water infrastructure safe?
Seems like there was a James Bond movie recently about water terrorists. I hope is wasn't a glimpse at the future.

the article said it was 90% effective .
I seriously doubt anybody would consider this a total solution to an ever growing problem , especially if 10% of the mussels are still alive .
Additionally , the article didn't mention specific's to what else was in the tanks when they conducted the testing . I am sure it must affect other organism's .
I sure hope they can find something to totally eliminate these little bastards.
