What's the biggest limit of spots ever weighed in?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the biggest limit of spots ever weighed. Yesterday at bullards bar westside anglers held its annual tournament. Gary Souza and Mark Larsen weighed in an unbelievable 40.01 with a big fish of 8.29. Second place was over 33. Thanks for everyone that joined us.

Hey Garrett, Were they all spots? That would make it an 8lb average with the biggest being 8.29! That would be a monster LM bag much less a limit of Spots!
I am thinking there were probably some LM in that toad limit!

They were all spots, no LM were caught. Amazing!!!

I've never even caught a LM at Bullards. There have to be some in there though right?

Amazing and too bad at the same time. That is a small lake and many have been trying to keep a lid on it for the past couple of years as these spots have been getting bigger. Pretty soon the bucket crowd will be walking the banks and a bunch of boats up there looking for the next WR. Not all press is good press.

Never caught a lm on Bullard but heard there were
A few left. Caught a 3lb sm earlyer this year!

No worries re: the "bucket crowd" Crawdaddy - Bullards has pretty poor bank access (really steep banks and rocky). You'll work hard to get any of those bigger spots from the bank. They can have all the dinks they want, as the lake is full of 'em.
