California leads on Day 1 of the TBF Southwest Championships

California takes a serious lead on Day 1 of The Bass Federation Southwest Championships with 204 lbs and 5 oz. They lead by nearly 40 lbs!
The championship tournament is a 3 day event taking place at Clear Lake that started today. The top team will win the prize money that will be split amongst the 12 person team. The top 2 leaders of each state will qualify for the TBF National Championships to be held next year.
