Really Len ? Why insult the guy with a low ball offer of 2/3's ? Can you buy a car that way, or a HOUSE ?? Give him a fair offer and he'd probably accept it. I know Brian, and pretty sure he'd use it for target practice before accepting a ridicules offer like that one !!

Calm down Mitch.... the boat is a 97 with a 10 year old motor and no display units... what would you pay for a 20 year old car with no stereo or AC with a 10 year old motor?? The boat is worth maybe 9 grand. Maybe that's all the guy can afford. This boat has been on here for quite a while, leading cause is due to it being way overpriced. It's not a Ranger.

It does look like a well maintained boat and in nice shape. Just older with a mismatched trailer and no navi or fish finders. Great rough water, dependable boat.

I think the Bass & Bay model probably came with the galvanized trailer like you guys see in the pictures. Probably not a mismatched trailer. It even says Champion on the it if you look closely. Us California bass guys don't know these things because we don't buy bass boats to chase bass and redfish.

All vehicles made in 1996 worth more than I'm asking for my boat. So yes it may not be a Ranger but that's a plus in my book. BTW Champions were made with laid up fiberglass cloth not a chopper gun like Rangers.

Dude, your old Champion is not equivalent to a classic exotic supercar or mint luxury car... far from a collectors item lol! It's an older boat manufactured by a company that went belly up. They made quality, durable, nice boats but could not compete with Skeeter, Nitro, Triton and Ranger. I'm not dogging your boat, it's just not worth what you want for it. Plus it's probably been in salt water which is another decrease in value. Rangers are in relation to a BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac, Audi, etc... Champions are like Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, etc... I have a 2016 Ranger Z519 after trading in my 2011 Nitro Z8. Rangers are top quality boats. I love your boat, that's why I'm even in here typing!

Really?! A champ is under a nitro now that's funny. Fact is older boats are hard to sell doesn't mean they aren't worth the asking price. Sit on it long enough and it will move.

Bigmouth: if I owned a 20 year old boat, mine would be paid off as well... try and find someone who owns a new $50k boat and is not making payments on it. I don't have a pink slip to put up. We can fish for gear. Delta or Berryessa, next weekend. Remember, this is your listing not mine. I was interested in your boat as a second boat to have for rough water and pre fishing, cash in hand, watching your listing for a price reduction. Someone offered an amount of $ that he thought it is worth or what he could afford. He was torn down by your buddy who has no interest in buying your boat for sale. I defended Len. Champions are nice boats and far better quality than a Nitro duh. They are not known for speed though. My top speed is 75, not sure if that competes with your Champion... don't be negative and and try tearing people down on here. This all started because of your friend mouthing off on a potential buyer....
